PAINTER AND ILLUSTRATOR – JENSEN BEACH, FL

   

Sally Eckman Roberts is a painter and illustrator in the historic seaside town of Jensen Beach, Florida. She paints images depicting nature in a traditional manner with a contemporary feel.

Using watercolor and pencil, Sally delicately blends rich color, while shaping intricate patterns and distinctive borders, to reveal stunning designs which meld nature and art. While her inspiration comes from the earth and natural objects, her look and style are fresh and new

Sally’s depictions easily transform into eye-catching holiday cards sure to delight both the giver and receiver! Featuring sumptuous hues, her creative world is designed with relaxation in mind. Sally’s studio doors are always open to welcome people in for a chat, and the porch has Adirondack chairs for visitors to feel at home and enjoy the ambiance.

Every Thursday evening (except Thanksgiving) from 6-9pm, Sally’s studio metamorphoses into a performance space supporting Jammin Jensen – a night celebrating music and art throughout the town. Hosting singers on her patio’s brick deck, surrounded by oak trees, and adorned with lantern lights and garden art, guests can follow the music and experience neighboring artisans, lining the streets with their crafts and wares! 

Originally from Warren, Indiana, Sally displayed an early affinity for art as a child. After earning her BFA in painting, from Ohio’s Miami University, she gained success as an illustrator and creative director while raising her family in Indianapolis.
